Position Overview
Seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as its next CEO. This individual will lead the Chamber’s strategic initiatives, oversee daily operations, and serve as the primary advocate and spokesperson for the business community.
Key Responsibilities
-Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a vision in collaboration with the Board
-Advocacy: Represent the interests of the Chamber and its members at the local, state, and federal levels.
-Operations Management: Oversee the Chamber’s programs, services, and events to ensure they align with organizational goals.
-Membership Development: Drive membership growth and engagement by enhancing the value proposition for members along side the Membership Director.
-Financial Oversight: Manage the Chamber’s budget ensuring fiscal responsibility.
-Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
Qualifications
-Proven leadership experience, preferably in a Chamber of Commerce, nonprofit, or business association.
-Strong understanding of business advocacy, economic development, and community engagement.
-Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
-Financial acumen, including budgeting and financial reporting.
-Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field; or IOM
-Familiarity with the Tampa Bay Beaches region and its business community.
-Experience in membership-based organizations or nonprofit management.

Robin Miller to Depart Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce, Accepts New Role as President & CEO of Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce
St. Pete Beach, FL — After 16 years of dedicated service to the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce, Robin Miller has announced her departure to assume the role of President & CEO of the Blowing Rock North Carolina Chamber of Commerce.
Since joining the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber in 2008, Robin has been instrumental in driving growth, fostering community relationships, and advocating for local businesses. Her leadership has solidified the Chamber’s position as a key resource for the Tampa Bay business community.
“I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber and work alongside an incredible team and community,” said Robin. “While I will miss the relationships and successes we have built here, I am excited to bring my passion and experience to Blowing Rock and contribute to its vibrant business community.”
During her tenure, Robin spearheaded numerous initiatives, including the popular Institute for Leadership program and bringing Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber to the forefront as a key leader in Tourism. Her commitment to supporting local businesses and enhancing economic development has left a lasting impact on the region, especially the barrier islands.
