The Town of Indian Shores boasts 2.5 miles of white-sandy beaches, breathtaking evening sunsets, and lots of seasonal residents – not only the human kind, but also threatened species such as loggerhead turtles and gliding black skimmers.
The town is the proud home of Florida Trend magazine’s “Golden Spoon” award-winning Salt Rock Grill along with many other local, independent businesses from coffee shops and retailers to watering holes.
Residents and visitors throughout the region bring distressed seabirds here to the Seaside Seabird Sanctuary. Our Town Square Nature Park is a half-mile, ADA-accessible boardwalk along the Intracoastal Waterway that features fishing and picnic areas, and is near a Pinellas County boat ramp with plenty of parking.
A drainage project along Gulf Boulevard was recently completed. This project also included the addition of two cross walks and roadway reflectors to increase pedestrian safety.
